Paintbrush Construction
The paintbrush shaft is made from an aluminium ferrule canister, while the brush tips are crafted from high-quality synthetic nylon bristles for smooth paint flow and excellent control.
The storage bag is made from acrylic fabric, and the protective storage tube is constructed from 400 gsm cardboard.

How to Open & Care for Your Paintbrushes
Each brush arrives with a protective coating to maintain its shape during transportation. Before first use, rinse the brush under running water and gently massage the bristles to remove the water-soluble coating.
The handle unscrews to assemble a full-size brush. When not in use, the hollow metal handle protects the bristles and helps keep them clean and in excellent condition.
To maximise the lifespan of your brushes:
• Store them inverted in the pouch after use
• Avoid leaving brushes standing on their bristles in water
• Wash thoroughly after painting and allow them to dry before storing

Can I return a damaged item?
We understand accidents happen 💛 Returns are assessed under our policy and Australian Consumer Law. Damage from misuse may affect eligibility, but if something is faulty, please reach out.
Will colours fade?
With the right care, your pieces will stay vibrant for a long time. Shade drying and gentle washing make all the difference.
Will colours look exactly the same as online?
Screens can vary, so slight differences may occur.
Do you offer a warranty?
Your rights are protected under Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase and contact us if needed.

Changed your mind or need a different size?
We don’t offer refunds for change of mind or choosing the wrong size, so please check our size guide before ordering.
We’re happy to offer exchanges on full-priced items, subject to availability. To qualify, your item must be:

Returned within 30 days of delivery.

Unworn, unwashed, unused and unaltered.

In its original condition, with all labels and tags attached.
Sale and discounted items aren’t eligible for change-of-mind exchanges. You’ll need to cover return postage and postage for your replacement item.
These conditions apply only to change-of-mind exchanges. They don’t limit your rights if an item is faulty, incorrect or otherwise fails to meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
Choosing your exchange
Email us with the item and size you’d like, and we’ll check availability.
If your preferred item isn’t available, you can choose something else or receive a credit note.
Your exchange value is the amount you originally paid. Your replacement item is priced at its advertised price when we process the exchange:

If it costs more, you’ll pay the difference.

If it costs less, we’ll issue a credit note for the remaining balance.
We can’t apply discounts from previous sales or promotions.
These options apply to change-of-mind exchanges. They don’t replace a refund you’re entitled to under Australian Consumer Law.
Something wrong with your order?
If your item arrives damaged, is faulty, isn’t what you ordered or doesn’t match its description, please contact shop@lordydordie.com.
Include your order number or another proof of purchase, a short description of the issue and, if possible, a photo.
We’ll assess the problem and arrange an appropriate solution:

For a major problem, you can choose a refund or replacement.

For a minor problem, we may arrange a free repair first. If we can’t fix it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or another remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
These rights apply to full-priced and sale items. They aren’t limited to 30 days, and you don’t need the original packaging or attached tags. Using or washing an item doesn’t automatically prevent a claim.
Consumer guarantees don’t cover a problem caused by misuse or damage you’ve caused, or a specific fault clearly disclosed before purchase.
How to return an item

We’ll explain the next steps. If your item needs to be returned, we’ll provide the return address and instructions.

Pack it carefully. Use suitable protective packaging. We recommend tracked postage and keeping your tracking details and postage receipt.

We’ll be in touch. Once your return arrives, we’ll assess it and confirm the next steps. Returns and remedies will be handled within a reasonable time.
Who pays for postage?
Change-of-mind or size exchanges: you pay return postage and postage for your replacement item.
Confirmed faults or other problems covered by Australian Consumer Law: we cover reasonable return postage and the cost of sending your repaired or replacement item. If you’ve already paid return postage, send us your receipt so we can reimburse you.
If we sent the wrong item: we cover the reasonable postage costs to get it sorted.
Receiving your refund
Refunds go back to your original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
Once we’ve processed your refund, please allow approximately 3–5 business days for it to appear in your account. Timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
If you’re entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law, you won’t be required to accept a credit note instead.
Credit notes
Credit notes are valid for three years from the date of issue and can be used in the Lordy Dordie online store. We’ll include the expiry date when we send yours.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
