$70 per workshop includes ALL art materials (you will take home 2 hand-painted ornaments)
During the class, you will be guided by a professional Artist and experienced teacher, Georgie Forbes of Lordy Dordie. Georgie will guide you through the basic skills and techniques used in Acrylic painting, whilst you play with vivid colours and enjoy plenty of creative freedom. You will learn creative composition, colour mixing, and various painting techniques along with plenty of helpful tips and guidance and inspire you to create your own stunning ornament masterpieces - one you’ll be proud to take home or gift to a loved one this Christmas!
You will be provided with a selection of high-quality ceramic Christmas ornaments, paint, brushes and all necessary supplies and a wonderful learning environment at the James Clark Gallery. By the time the class ends, you'll have created a few charming Christmas Ornaments. These artistic creations can be given to your loved ones as unique Christmas presents or hung on your walls for an extra touch of holiday cheer!
This workshop is suitable for any skill, age and is beginner-friendly. As long as you are happy to sit and enjoy the creative process- no experience needed. Children (8 & above) are welcome but must be accompanied by a (paying) adult.
Georgie has worked as a professional Artist & Surface Pattern Designer for over 25 years and loves inspiring minds to create using endless amounts of colour. Please feel free to BYO drinks & food (BYO cups & plates as well please). Due to workshop space sizes, please bring mini sized picnic platters!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you are unable to attend your booked and paid for Lordy Dordie art Workshop, please let Georgie ASAP by emailing shop@lordydordie.com . Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the Workshop date booked, and full refunds will be provided upon request. This allows Georgie plenty of time to offer your place to the waiting list or another customer in the two weeks leading up to the Workshop. Workshops cancelled in the 7 days leading up to the event, are not refundable due to art material & venue costs, however Georgie can issue you with a credit note to put towards another workshop (please note that the same workshop may not be available and the credit note may need to be used for a different workshop type). If, in the unlikely event a class needs to be cancelled due to host illness or another unexpected event, all participants will be fully refunded.
