Led by a professional artist and experienced teacher, Georgie Forbes of Lordy Dordie, she will guide you through the basic skills and techniques used in watercolour painting.
You will learn flower composition, colour mixing, and various watercolour techniques along with plenty of helpful tips and guidance and inspire you to create your own stunning festive floral cards you’ll be proud to take home or gift to a loved one this Christmas!
You will be provided with all the tools you need including a range of watercolour paints, blank watercolour greeting cards and envelopes, brushes, as well as a wonderful learning environment here in our Foragers Nest studio.
By the time the class ends, you'll have created a few charming festive themed greeting cards. These artistic creations can be given to your loved ones as unique Christmas presents or hung on your walls for an extra touch of holiday cheer!
This workshop is suitable for any skill, age and is beginner-friendly. As long as you are happy to sit and enjoy the creative process, no experience needed. Discover a new hobby, meet new people, and discover why watercolour painting is such a popular and fun medium to work with.

What you'll get
All materials provided, including two watercolour greeting cards (300gsm watercolour card stock and envelopes), paints and brush equipment.
You will also take home two completed cards at the end of the workshop.
What to bring
BYO drinks and food (BYO cups & plates as well please). Due to workshop space sizes, please bring mini sized picnic platters!

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a birthday or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).
An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
